NEW NEWS:
This off season we've been in contact with Central Park Bike Tours to help fill the demand for more Manhattan-based exploring. They're a reputable company offering bicycle tours and rentals, as well as carriage rides and pedicab/rickshaw tours. We recommend!
Our first overseas partner is based in Italy! Excursions in Tuscany runs like-minded bike and walking tours--both full and half day--around Florence and the rest of Tuscany. We hope to give detailed, first-hand reports on these tours soon!
Gotham SideWalks has partnered with Ride Brooklyn bike shop to make bike rentals for our tours easy and affordable. There is also an amazing Brooklyn Baseball history website that compliments the baseball tour quite nicely (with a unique selection of Brooklyn Baseball t-shirts for sale as well). Special thanks to the Old Stone House in Park Slope for being excellent partners of our BIKE BROOKLYN BASEBALL tour.
So far, other partners along our routes include:
-Marissa Alperin's Art Studio is a great place to pick up unique jewelry, but doubles as a time warp to an old waterfront grocery
-The Inn on Second, a bike-friendly Inn located in a great area of Brooklyn and housed in a fabulous, 19th century brownstone
-At Home in Brooklyn, a beautiful new B & B housed in a 1919 Tutor-styled shell that faces Prospect Park and Brooklyn Library
-Green Depot, a business dedicated to sustainable living located in an old YMCA on the Bowery in the Lower East Side
-The Fusion Arts Museum, an art gallery showing cutting-edge experimental art on the Lower East Side
-St. Ann & the Holy Trinity Church, an 19th century Episcopal Church dedicated to music and community in Brooklyn Heights
-Morrison Hotel Gallery, the site of the old CBGB's, and current home to a photography gallery that specializes in rock & roll
